Previous HOMELESS WORLD CUPS

We’ve been changing lives with football Since 2003.

The first Homeless World Cup took place in 2003 in Graz, Austria, and we’ve been changing lives with football ever since. The Homeless World Cup brings together our Member Countries from around the world, each representing their respective nation with passion and pride.

The annual tournament is a celebration of the amazing work being done by the grassroots organisations in our Member Countries. It is also an aspirational goal for individuals seeking a better future, and a powerful way to challenge how people think about homelessness.

The 2020, 2021 and 2022 Homeless World Cups were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic forcing major sporting events not to be held.
